WORSHIP & PRAYERS

These 2 terminologies are completely different and independent from each other.

Worship means remembering the Great Lord in each and every aspect of life, in each and everything thing, following the path of righteousness and following the 3 basic pillars of life: namely GOOD THOUGHTS, GOOD WORDS & GOOD DEEDS.


On the other hand prayers are MANTHRAVANI / MANTRAS that are drafted to achieve some goals, like bad mantras for achieving black magic goals and good mantras for achieving good goals.


Sometimes, in innocence we undertake prayers even for achieving success, to beat our competitors, but indirectly we are wishing someone's failure to achieve our own success.


That's the silver lining between a true worship and a prayer. A very excellent example of this can be explained through one real life story, on which even a Television documentary was made several years back.


A news spreaded like a wild fire that there were 3 saints seen in a remote jungle, who were very pious, even their single glimpse made people feel some miracles.


A very high profile and learned Religious Priest decided to meet them personally. So he started his journey, that took several days, riding in bus, crossing rivers, crossing mountains and dense forests he finally reached his desired destination and found these 3 saints.


To his utmost surprise, these 3 saints were completely unaware of any religious texts and prayers, their simple chant was to praise the Lord and follow the life of righteousness.


With a broad smile, he realised that he just wasted his time in undertaking this long journey to meet these simple people. Anyway, he said to himself, let me impart them some religious training on some basic prayers, so they can chant those prayers rather than chanting some simple words of praising the Lord.


After spending couple of hours with them, next day morning the learned Priest started his journey back home. After tedious journey walking through forests and after crossing the river in boat he reached the bus station to catch his bus back home.


Sitting on the window seat of bus, his eyes got completely widened looking at those 3 saints walking on the river water, rushing to meet the learned priest, as they forgot couple of words from the prayers, which the Priest taught them.


The learned priest immediately realised what to be done next. He simply came out of bus and told to those 3 saints to ignore what he had taught and return back to their own chants, praising the Lord, what they had been doing since years.


The learned Priest realised the difference of Worship and Prayers on that day, whereby Worshipping is a never ending process aligned with the path of righteousness, whereas Prayers are just a part of this entire process.


Fooling others, cheating and undertaking wrong acts is not at all a tough game, one can easily do these acts. But the real challange is to follow the path of righteousness, which may bring some tough stance, but will provide an unlimited power to face the world with grace and dignity.
