OZONE
OZONE / HAPTAN YASHT
Shape of Earth is like an Oblate Spheroid (Rig Veda XXX. IV.V)
and Earth is flattened at the poles (Markandeya Purana 54.12).
Sixty-four centuries before Isaac Newton, the Rig-Veda asserted
that gravitation held the universe together. The Sanskrit speaking Aryans
subscribed to the idea of a spherical earth in an era when the Greeks believed
in a flat one. “Geography” in Sanskrit is also called as
“Bhoo-gol, which literally means that
earth (Bhoomi) is round (Gol).
Now let’s focus on the
mighty Khorshed Yazad / Surya / Sun, whose chariot is driven by 7 horses
mentioned in the Rig Veda that represents the seven columns forming light and
the movement of the Sun’s rays. The power of Sun is beyond our imaginations and
normal / mortal human beings cannot withstand the same. Protective layers of
Ozone are already mentioned in Vandidad /Vedas created by the Almighty with the
combined powers of 7 Ameshashpands / Adityas, so that we normal human beings
can survive and grow.
Just like what we see
in science & fiction movies that an invisible man becomes visible when he
comes in contact with liquid / water, on similar lines when the sunlight passes
through the rain water droplets entangled with this invisible KHOREH /
Protective shield created by 7 AMESHASHPANDS / ADITYAS, we see 7 colour
rainbow, with the top RED color designated to HORMAZD / INDRA DEVA, that
represent SHUBH KANKOO color and that's the reason it's called INDRADHANUSH.
Amongst our 33 Yazads, Banus & Ameshashpands / Devis, Devtas
& Adityas, 7 are considered as Ameshashpands / Adityas. In the Rigveda, the
Adityas are the seven celestial deities, sons of Aditi, and their names are
mentioned herewith:
1) Indra Deva / Hormazd
2) Aryaman Deva / Vohuman (Bahman)
3) Mitra Varuna Deva / Ardibehest
4) Bhaga Deva / Shehrevar
5) Amsha Deva / Asfandard
6) Dhatri Deva / Khordad
7) Vivasvan Deva / Amardad
The Sun / Khorshed Yazad is known as the most powerful form of
light, created by AhuraMazda / ParamBrahma. The Sun is the star at the center
of the Solar System, which is a nearly perfect sphere of hot plasma and the
most important source of energy for life on Earth. Its diameter is about 109
times that of Earth, and its mass is about 330,000 times that of Earth,
accounting for about 99.86% of the total mass of the Solar System.
In Mazdayasni Aryanism, it is believed that earth is a minor
portion of sun, that got disintegrated and travelled far away from sun, with
its outer periphery getting cooled down in due course of time, but still its
inner crest is full of hot burning lava. Worshiping sun is termed as FARAZIYAT
/ ARGHIYA NI KRIYA, whereby it needs to be recited / performed compulsorily and
that too every day.
The Sun is by far the brightest object in the sky, which is
about 13 billion times brighter than the next brightest star, Sirius. The mean
distance of the Sun's center to Earth's center is approximately 1 astronomical
unit (about 150,000,000 km). At this average distance, light travels from the
Sun's horizon to Earth's horizon in about 9 minutes and that’s the reason in
Persian Aryanism, during the change of GEH one needs to wait for 9 minutes for
initiating the prayers.
During the Himalayan hiking, when we hike at an extreme high
altitudes of around 18000 feets, whereby the clouds are seen below where we stand,
the impact of ultraviolet sunlight is so harsh that in a weeks’ time the skin
would become complete black and by the time we are at our home, our parents use
to comment, “our European kid got transformed into an African one”.
Such is the immense power of sunlight and to protect the
inhabitants on earth from its ultraviolet radiation impact, all the 7
Ameshashpands / Adityas created a composite KHOREH, as form of protective
shield layer, what we call it in science as OZONE layer. The combine power of 7
Ameshashpands / Adityas can also be created by invoking Haptan Yasht.
The ozone layer or ozone shield is a region of Earth's
stratosphere that absorbs most of the Sun's ultraviolet (UV) radiation. It
contains high concentrations of ozone (O3) in relation to other parts of the
atmosphere and is mainly found in the lower portion of the stratosphere, from
approximately 20 to 30 kilometers above Earth.
Measurements of the sun showed that the radiation sent out from
its surface and reaching the ground on Earth is usually consistent with the
spectrum of temperature in the range of 5,227 to 5,727 °C, except that there
was no radiation below a wavelength of about 310 nm at the ultraviolet end of
the spectrum. It was deduced that the missing radiation was being absorbed by
something in the atmosphere. Eventually the spectrum of the missing radiation
was matched to only one known chemical and that was ozone. The ozone layer
absorbs 97 to 99 percent of the Sun's medium-frequency ultraviolet light (from
about 200 nm to 315 nm wavelength), which otherwise would potentially damage
exposed life forms near the surface.
About 90 percent of the ozone in the atmosphere is contained in
the stratosphere. Ozone concentrations are greatest between about 20 and 40
kilometers. Although the concentration of the ozone in the ozone layer is very
small, it is vitally important to life because it absorbs biologically harmful
ultraviolet (UV) radiation coming from the sun.
Science was always a reinvention of already invented thousands
of years back in Mazdayasni / Aryanism era and we feel so proud to study the
new, rather than the old SHAASHTRAS, from where this new got reformed.
