ॐ / OHM / AHUN

 

The first creations of ParamBrahma / Ahuramazda was the spiritual world, followed by the physical universe thereafter, through their own created team of Devta & Aditya / Yazads & Ameshashpands. Amongst these initial spiritual creations, the first creation was of Brahma / Hormazd, who was assigned the task of creating the physical universe. The first spiritual cosmic sound created was Ohm / Ahun, which is considered above all the Mantra / words / strot, as a mystical syllable affirming to something divine.

 

This one word is a Brahmand / universe in itself, comprising the whole Veda /  Vandidad therein and is not just chanted in Bharata, but across the entire Asian continent, with different symbols depicted in the image herein.

 

It signifies all states of time: the past, present and future.

 

It signifies all states of soul: physical, spiritual and eternal.

 

It signifies all states of consciousness: awakened, dreaming and meditation.

 

It signifies all states of knowledge: Discovery, exaltation and annihilation.

 

So, it’s the first ever creation of sound / word, before the physical universe was created, as primordial utterance, having talismanic virtues, imparting power to aid the mortals in distress, a potent weapon against all evils, the most veracious word for victory, a precious sacred gift to safeguard against all the odds and the most powerful healer of all times.

  PALASH (Kesudo) “The Sacred flame of forest”   The first sloka of the Sukla Yajurveda speaks about the Palasa tree and in Sanskrit, the flower is extensively used as a symbol for the arrival of spring and the colour of love.
