Rig Veda represents Surya / Sun with a chariot driven by 7 horses that represents the seven columns forming light in 7 different colours. The power of Sun is beyond our imaginations and nature cannot withstand the same, without a protective shield of Ozone.

 

Amongst the 33 Devis & Devas, 7 are considered as Adityas / Ameshashpands that forms a protective shield “kash” of Ozone, so that the impact of sunlight gets transformed.

 

When the sunlight passes through the rain water droplets entangled with this invisible Protective shield created by 7 ADITYAS, we see 7 coloured rainbow, with the top RED color designated to INDRA DEVA, that represent “life” and that's the reason it's called INDRADHANUSH.

About 90 percent of the ozone in the atmosphere is contained in the stratosphere and  it absorbs biologically harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiation coming from the sun.

PALASH

  PALASH (Kesudo) “The Sacred flame of forest”   The first sloka of the Sukla Yajurveda speaks about the Palasa tree and in Sanskrit, the flower is extensively used as a symbol for the arrival of spring and the colour of love. Palash is the holy fire (Agni) flower and is only found in BharatVarsh territory, ranging across Pakistan, Bharat, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
